coroplast 3mm

I have had a talk with a Sign maker, and she phoned her supplier and they have 3MM (not 4MM) coroplast in WHITE only at $10.00 a 4x8 sheet. She did not name her supplier, but I think I can find that out. They have a $30.00 cutting charge if its cut smaller into 4x4 sheets. I do believe that its in the greater Toronto area. I am willing to buy 5 sheets if I can get a RC'er with a van or a Pick Up truck to go get them. Then they could be cut into 4x4 sheets, and sent by purolater around Canada.
Anybody interested?????
John

3mm coro is really sweet stuff for conventional Spads. In fact Spad #1 was built from 3mm. Slightly lighter and easier to score and fold than 4mm. The hinges tend to not be as stiff, and it works great as tail feathers with the use of readily available 1/8" dowel stiffners. I don't know however, how well it would work on a Spa3d or pbf type plane as I haven't actually done it. I guess it would be fine with the use of 1/8" music wire stiffners...maybe even lighter and better for the smaller versions.

GE Polymershapes is on Airport Road a couple miles north of the 407.

They do cash sales out the back door!

It's a warehouse unit Chris.

Big GE sign on the side of the building, they are the first unit on the North side of the building.
