Thanks Gaston! I'm a hack at video editing... don't have the time or money to invest in the coolest software or training, but I get by

I'll be sure to let people know Hank once we finalize the dates and times. It'll probably be early May... I think the summer rates at BMO start in May.

Thanks,
J

Blue Foamie

I got a kit of the Arrow from Gaston on Saturday and managed to finish it just in time for our indoor session tonight in Montreal.
I am very happy with the first few flights. It sound 'clichet' but it really only needed 1 or 2 clic on the trims. No mixes for now and no change on the CG. Knife edge is very good. I am looking forward to fly it again after I fix the pull-pull I (badly)did for the tail. Maybe, I should have used Gaston's rod system
The weight with a Turnigy 2204-14T, 6A ESC, 2S360mha Rhino, 4g servos and HK 6ch RX is 157g.

Re: Blue Foamie

Good morning Xavier
Nice colors, your weight is very good, 5.5 oz for the old timers like me. Thanks for the trial, it's great. Mine is a bit heavier, all I had is 5 g servos and 7 g Rx, a gram here an there adds up plus I used hot glue, it ended up at 5.8 oz, which is still very good.

Re: Blue Foamie

We flew Dave's new Blue Fan Fold Axis yesterday in Orillia, built it yesterday too. This was Dave's first time using hot melt to assemble so I did the major work for him while continually hearing comments of how nice and complete the components supplied for this kit are. It flew extremely well powered by Hacker but did require the battery placement pretty much on the cg for a nice balance, something I did not think of until I flew it myself, I guess the BFF is a little heavier and in turn alters the battery placement.
Unfortunately we did not have enough time for me to put an arrow together, I guess I will have to do that one night this week and can hardly wait.
