Someone at our local club mentioned he had heard that there are now 2.4 receiver clones available and mentioned a price of $50 for a Spektrum DX7 receiver (AR7000). Could anyone please confirm or deny the availability of 2.4 receiver clones and I am specifically interested in a AR7000 dual receiver clone.

The oriental manufacturer CORONA are apparently offering a module and some receivers compatible with JR - can't make out if the receivers are available separately but it seems so.
ASSAN are also, but it seems only compatible with their system called X8 so won't work with JR - neither system apparently works with Futaba FSST. All very vague though.
Prices looked good in Taiwan or where ever HobbyCity is located. Info gleaned while looking for something else!
