DD,

Here read through this link to get better understanding on part of your question asked.

http://casmuseum.techno-science.ca/e...a-jetliner.php

In another article I read that TWA had ordered 4 C-102s and had option of 6 more but Canadian government wanted fighters produced and had asked AV Row Canada to focus on war planes vs airliners and therefore Avro Canada still kept prototype C102 flying as far as they could before ordering it to be scrapped.

Hey nose section of the one is still preserved in National Aviation Museum in Ottawa!...

Thanks for the link Sam. . . But I know the C102' s history . . . What I'm asking is if they had green-lighted it's production. . . . Which airlines would have bought it? TWA is one. . . . What other ones? TCA ? WardAir? Canadian pacific? That's my question Sir.

TWA in US and TCA in Canada for sure right of the back. Other airlines or airways would have followed after seeing TCA flying them eventually. I'd imagine CP would be after TCA as they were second biggest airline back then in Canada...

What's amazing Sam. . . . Canada created the 737 almost 20 years before Boeing did.

TRUE but as history tells us, we Canadians never learn what we have until it's gone!. AV Roe Canada had taken Canadian Aerospace industry to the highest skies just for our stupid governments not to realize what we had and where we could have been today had C102 and Arrow had left to live.....

Very true Sir. . . But I think the CRJ and Bombardier aircraft are proof that Canada has learned it's lesson.
