       Remove this ad - become a site supporter!
The horns were to thick to fit through the slots in the base.
So a quick pass with an abrasive dremel bit and the slots were the perfect size.
Then a quick trim of the base and grind the one edge of the horn. And everything lines up fine

The horn hits the bottom of the stab at full deflection.
I don't get 90 degrees any more. But I think I must be getting 80+ LOL

Since the bottom of the wings are black. I plan to paint the horns black.
They look ugly sitting there in that off white yellowish color.

Right now I have some hinges installed and the epoxy is setting.

Amazing kit . the deflection on those elevators is crazy, the fuse looks like it has some carden features. just seems like EF just gets better and better. It is a treat working on something that is so well built , the best part is knowing it will be a winner when finished . . safe maiden ,Roger

The guy throws it around pretty good. I just wish I could fly 25% of what the guy in the video does

Stabs are done and set up.

The epoxy for the aileron hinges is curing

Next I will need to bring in the Slick fuse to remove the motor, throttle servo and rudder servo.
Then I can get into setting up the Extra fuselage.
