This model was fun to build and a hoot to fly. Fabric and dope, OS 60or with a 90'' span.

Re: Glow Head Brotherhood

Thanks Richard. The tail comes up on this model with the slightest power and apon landing the tail stay's up until almost completely stopped. I guess I should have doped it black with a white stripe.

I buy the oil in the states,at one time I could buy it in Canada now you can't I get the one for gasoline engines . You can use air tool oil as well or go to your LHS they sell after run oil there. I use Cool Power synthetic fuel by Morgan fuels 10 percent nitromethane gives good idle and transition to full throttle the colour is green in the bottle. I have run this fuel in all my 2 stroke engines for the past 12 yrs now . It will keep the engines clean and operating at optimum performance.Use after run oil after each flying day keeps the moisture from getting into the bearings and causing rust. Niromethane absorbs moisture.
Thanks for the great tips Norm! I have lots of air tool oil I can use for storage and several friends that we visit in the states so we should be able to pick up the Marvel mystery oil . Starting to get itchy for spring and warmer weather to get these things going . The 1/6 cub is being a real challenge to build but I have three days this weekend to work on it

They sell MMO at the Wallmart in Kingston. In the automotive section in a large plastic jug. I think it was around $13. Should last forever.

Re: Glow Head Brotherhood

Your welcome Kevin anytime. That's what we are here for. If you pick up the Marvel Mystery Oil be sure to get the one for gasoline engines. It works very well and it doesn't make your engines feel gummy if they are sitting around for a while.

Thanks Richard ! Greatly appreciated .
I thought I had seen it some where in town but couldn`t put my finger on where . I am not a big Walmart shopper but was dragged there the other night to look for winter boots for my daughter. I must have seen it wandering around the automotive section as that's about the only part I find interesting

Re: Glow Head Brotherhood

The older engines were built and finished to grab your eye! Just imagine building a new model and going to the LHS for a powerplant. Then, looking into the showcase you see this.
