DL 50 gasser for sale. 50cc - 5.2 HP. Standoffs, Ignition, prop, spinner, Opti kill switch, MPI charge switch, 2 bottles oil & manuals.

Engine is in the process of being broken in. AS per the manufacturer's instructions, I have carefully completed the 2 hours of ground break-in.

Engine was run in the airframe on the ground for 2 hours at 30 minute intervals using a Xoar 22" X 8 Prop and a gas/oil mix of 30:1 using Pensoil 2 stroke air cooled oil. Throttle was set precisely at 2500 RPM tacked and carefully monitored for the duration of the ground portion of the break-in.

Then as per Mfg's instructions, the high and low needles were tweeked for idle and smooth transition while still remaining slightly rich for the remander of the break-in which is to be completed while flying.

The engine was then flown for 2 flights only of 10 minutes each at various throttle settings assuring no overreving of the engine. MFG's instructions are to fly it for approx 2 gals of fuel/oil mix to complete the break-in. Then it can be switched to a synthetic oil mix of gas/oil at 45:1.

This engine has be run only to accomodate the break-in and for all intents and purposes is a brand new engine which has been handled with the greatest of care.

AS WELL AS the engine, stand offs, Ignition, stock muffler, & manuals, I will include the following: True Turn 3.5" Aluminum Spinner, Opti Kill Switch, MPI charge switch, A Xoar 22"X 8 Prop 1 bottle Pensoil air cooled oil, 1 large bottle Amsoil Sabre Pro oil.

Will sell the complete package for $400 shipped in Ontario. Will pay half shipping elsewhere in Canada or will deliver within reasonable distance.
