My cheap retract pump

Wanted to share a cheap alternative here. Canadian tire had these "Certified" air compressors on for $17 bucks. They are rated for 150PSI.
Chopped the cord and hooked up a 3 cell lipo I had laying around. Presto!
Used it Ottawa Valley Jets and it works great.

Re: My cheap retract pump

Cool idea. How long does it last on that 4.0 pack?

I still have the corded 12V left over from tire fills and a newer multi-purpose inflator, but like portability more. My son bought me a portable pistol pump that shares batts with the drill. Only problem is the batteries are getting long in the tooth and need new LiFE cells.

Hah! Looks identical to mine! Great minds think alike, and I know that many of us use them at the field

Re: My cheap retract pump

Not entirely sure how long it lasts just yet. I used a smaller 1500 pack first that was just laying around I never even charged first and I filled the retract and brake tanks on my F15 twice and it still had lots of juice. I figure this bigger pack would be better.
Yeah you cant beat the price! I paid $13 for my foot pump LOL
