The stock AC adapter/charger doesn't have much capacity, hence why the charge is so slow.

You can charge the pack (outside the transmitter) in about an hour at 1C (4A) with a good LiPo charger using an adapter. I use a similar harness and it works great, no issues.

Went in today to Leading Edge Hobbies and picked up a DX8 with the gift cards I got for Christmas . I am going to sit down tonight and start the learning curve of what this TX can do . Just wanted to thank everyone for all the advice and tips .

Good Choice

I purchased the 7 because it came with the 3 receivers, I have already installed 2 of them and used up 7 memory slots.

After using mine for a few months I do not know why I did not make the purchase sooner, great radios and lots of Bind and Fly options out there.

When I bought mine a few months ago it needed a software update. you might want to look into that and there is also a few pre set setup files for certain planes and helicopter's you can download and install.
