Had a couple of those. Not a very powerful engine, but very reliable, particularly the version that comes with a Walbro car.
Let me know what you need. Still have the manual.

Engine was mounted on a OHIO RC- 28 % Ultimate, weighting 18 lbs. It was slightly underpower for vertical, but it flew it very nicely. The best prop for this engine model was an Zinger 18x6-10. Will turn anything from a 16-12 to a 20-8. Best is to try different until you are happy with the result.

As for fuel, the best is a mix of Methanol, 5 % oil (Klotz) and 5 % nitro (optional). Running regular nitro fuel will work but you will have inconsistent idle & middle range, as there is too much oil. (18-20%). Engine will take about 10-20 flights before starting to be broken-in, so be patient. After that it is an aswome engine

Jim Bisson of Bisson Custom Mufflers makes a Pitts-style muffler that he manufactures specifically for the Maxi 30. You can check with them about this or your local hobbyshop.
