My tips made it to the September issue of RCDriver...it was really a simple tip - using rubber grommet instead of foam washer thru the body post to protect the body from cracking.

I have good success with a wide plastic washer made out of any type of plastic jugs to absorb any impacts to prevent the body from tearing

Yes I agree shoe goo or even silicone around the hole helps too...or a Scotiabank client car helps as well...makes it more stiffer, use 2 paperclips and glue with CA and then silicone like no tomorrow.

My 2.5 cents

PeacE!

I tried the Scotiabank card thing...I know...and it does work!

drywall tape, mesh type, and shoe goo. I just fixed a body that had the front hood down through wheelwells broken off (dude cut out the whole front window). I did one piece to cover a fair sized area, and a second over the crack. I can pick the genesis up by the body now and it holds. dam genesis weighs a ton.

it was a trade, just had to have one. 4 wheel steering and reverse. be a fun basher once it's ready.
