Hey guys i have a Giant-U-Can-Do with 4 5985's on the ailerons, 2 5955's on the elevators, and 1 5955 on the rudder(it is electrc so no throttle or choke servo). I already have 1 fromeco reg. with a 7.4v 1500maH Li-Po powering the whole system.

When i hook up everything it all runs fine, but in time will the high amp drawing servos fry my reveiver? I was thinking on buying a matchbox for the alerons and hooking the 4 serovs in there with a seperate battery to power it , but i thought i should first ask and hopefully save me some money with not having to buy one.

I have a feeling i will only get 2 flights with the 1500 bat is this true?Ii also have a few 3 cell li-pos, would i be able to hook it to the reg, or can i only us 2 cells on it?

if your regulator is a linear reg (which i believe fromeco regs are) then you can only run 2s lipos on it. the duralite one i have in my helicopter can do 3s packs because it is a switching regulator.

i would only do about 2-3 flights on a 1500 pack with that kind of electronics. right now zebra hobby has a sale on apogee 2s 2200 packs. they are 21.50, i bought one for my heli and it works great.

as for frying your rx, i cannot answer that, but i would say you are pretty close if not over what you should be putting through it.

Don't guess!

Go here and find out direct from the manufacture...

Your rx will be fine but I would be extremely worried about the battery. It is hard to find anyone who doesn't run redundant packs on giant scale for a good reason. Lots of money to flush down the toilet because of an inadequate battery. After having one it is hard to beat the Duralite power box and electronic switch. It is a near bullet proof system.
