SOLD SOLD SOLD - 1/3 Scale GP PITTS SPECIAL - needs to go - $350
Hey All
I have an absolutely beautiful 1/3 SCALE GP PITTS SPECIAL that I am putting up for sale. The plane is built, but has never flown. It is covered in Monokote. No hangar rash, no marks. It is set up for a FUJI 64cc engine. I have another new fiberglass cowl in the box that I will include with the deal. Also comes with a 4” polished aluminum spinner wheel pants, and fuel tank. The plane is being sold without the engine or servos included. However, to get the plane ready will not take long. This plane is well built. The PITTS fly beautifully. At low speed the plane handles like a pussycat, but apply the throttle and you have a plane that will perform (and look great). Always a crowd pleaser in the air or on the ground, the plane gets noticed! Some specs The plane will fly with a very wide range of power. Engines in the low range will fly the plane. Engines in the higher ranges will give top performances. 1.60-2.1 2-stroke glow 1.8 or larger 4-stroke glow. 2.4-3.2 Gas Wing span - 68 ½” Length – 70” Weight – 14 – 16 pounds depending on engine choice SELLING COST - $350 ================================================== ======= RCC Classified Quick Rules - Location & price is a must when selling RC related items. Pitts
Hi Henry,
What is the biggest gas that could power this model... I have a BME 110! It is only 4 pounds. I gues my question really should be what is the biggest prop the plane could take? Also would you ship to BC? Thanks Shaun |

Bme 110
Hey Shaun
Wow.. You really believe in the adage... you cannot have enough HP in a plane. Biplanes are not made for speed, but for grace and good looks (IMHO). This is particularly true with the PITTS. A 50cc is more than enough to enjoy the beauty of this plane. My Fuji 65 is considerable more power than the plane needs. I use it because I got a killer deal on the engine....;> A larger engine, will be a waste of HP. A 22-10 prop works well on the plane. It provides decent clearance. Larger props could create problems with the clearance.
