What VTX are you using?

Is it this one?

The specs on it show 6-13V, unless yours is different. If yours is the same (6-13V) then the hookup will be pretty straight forward. I am sure we can advise you how its done once we know for sure what the max voltage of your VTX is.

Forgot to mention I was planning on using a small 450mah 3s battery to power the camera as I assume thats what the red JST connector on cable #3 is for

Spent a few hours today and got it all wired up and works great
Just wish I would have got the Dominator google set up instead
The view in the Attitude googles are ok but Dominators are supposed to be a lot sharper

Good job. You will enjoy this hobby.
The Doms are good, I have them. But they are not great. Any Lcd TV will produce a much better image. But goggles a lot more convenient.

Also the niceness of the visual you get can better be enhanced by going to a higher end ccd camera.

Yup lookin forward too spring to try everything out on my Phantom
Been practicing my quad flying and orientation in the basement with my MQX
I find actual fly much better than using a flight sim

Modern imu quads are great. A friend of mine recently built a quad fpv, and the pitch, roll and yaw axes are controlled by a 3 axis head tracker. This has made it possible for his quadriplegic friend to fly the quad by moving his head.
