Just for kicks I put the Vertigo stabs up beside that massive 40% Pilot Yak I'm working on here...

http://rccanucks.com/showthread.php?...Little-Remodel

Not the span of the big Yak, but you can see the chord of the Vertigo stabs

This morning I finished up all the little odds and ends on the fuse and got the spackling compound applied.

A final sand to 400 grit tonight and I can start covering it

Different? You must mean the increased size of my bald spot due to all the head scratching trying to figure out where to start! Lol

Re: 3.0m Badan Vertigo Build - Czech this out

It been about 30yrs since i built a kit! So i decided to start small with the stabs and elevators. Scott and I cut all the ply pieces loose last night after we inventoried both our kits.
I sanded all pieces this afternoon. I fit my servos in the reinforced servo ribs, drilled the mounting holes for the servos and hardened the holes with CA.
Then i assembled the ply parts of the first stab this evening using Lepages Express.
Tomorrow i will use some Hysol to put the stab tube and hinge posts in.

Woohoo!! We have multiple cases of Vertigo in the works

Love the elastic band idea John. A cool trick I'll use going forward!!

Richard... Dan can chime in, but I hear the progress of the 50cc prototype build is moving right along!!
