2010 Imac
Ok guys and gals.
I am just putting this out there for cd's and pilots so that things go smoothly next season. Since it been a few weeks since the official season has finished and everyone's been able to regroup and gain some rest from a very productive Imac season. Now is the time to start focusing on the next up coming season. What do pilots want for events? Imac primers, 1-3 day contests, Judging schools, Flying schools etc. More/less. Now the big thing to consider is co-ordinations between other event to maximize participation. So now is the time to bring up events at your clubs meetings and talk to your scale aerobatics committee members and chairman BOB HUDSON. So that they can be sanctioned and that everyone can plan for the up coming season. New ideas are welcome. Let the planning begin.

Re: 2010 Imac
Hey Guys,
Carlyle Anderson and myself are working on an "Introduction to IMAC/Basic Judging School" + Seminars covering other topics + an indoor freestyle for the end of the day. We have found an awesome venue in Stratford, Ontario and are currently working on a flyer with all of the details. The date will most likely be the second weekend of Feb/2010. I've just started to contact key players for this seminar. If you wish to share ideals you can get a hold of me @ 519-932-0914 or guillaume_saucier@hotmail.com Stay tuned! Thanks,

Re: 2010 Imac
My wish for 2010, is that I have a place to fly / practice IMAC , that isn't 1.5 hours drive away.
I know there are a number of others who live west of the GTA, who are in the same situation as I am. As a result they like myself, are nowhere near as active in IMAC anymore either. Without a field within reasonable driving distance that can accommodate our sequences / large aircraft for practicing, trying to compete is futile. Sorry if my post seems like a rant...

Re: 2010 Imac
I am working on having two 2 day contests here in Atlantic Canada. One big one will be in Truro N.S. on July 17th and 18th and the other...well I haven't nailed down a date or location yet but it will be in the Moncton area in N.B......probably the August 28th weekend or the first weekend in September. I woudl like to see a 1 day contest will be held sometime throughout the summer...maybe in June (hint hint). I think Atlantic Canada has enough room for 3 to 4 contests throughout the summer right now...maybe more if more guys get involved. In the 2009 season, their were approximately 12 active IMAC competitors in NB and NS (not too sure about Newfoundland as they had a few contests in 2009 aswell) but hopefully that number will increase to atleast 15 in 2010. We are very very lucky out here on the east coast as we have a healthy supply of open land that is giant scale and S/A friendly. No plans as of yet for a primer or a flight school.

Re: 2010 Imac
Flying Tigers contest will be July 3/4, 2010.
Several club members have also expressed an interest in the club hosting an IMAC Primer and/or Test&Tune early on in the season, perhaps im late May.
