Hi Randy,

Are you going with the fibreglass fuse from VicRC and a lasercut wing kit or scratch build from plans?

Re: Brian Taylor Spitfire Build

Email me with any specifics you're looking for, I have tons of books at home, plus access to the Shearwater Aviation Museum Library. I can scan anything, and email to you, preferably not entire books though! lol Working on my 1/5th Dave Platt Spit right now, got the engine (Moki 1. mounted, upper and lower cowls fit, exhaust stacks on, wing fillets are done, just doing filling priming on those now. I'm doing panel lines and rivet detail, so that's a slow process. I'm using a rounded point on a small soldering iron, to simulate the small flush rivets, and thin tape for the panels. Once everything's done, then two coats of primer, pull all the tape off, and paint. Should look pretty decent. I'm doing Buzz Beurling's last Spit, a Mk IX, just before he left the airforce.

I'm glassing a TF Spit, almost considering doing Ezra Weizmann's black w/lightening bolt Israeli Spit. Pretty unique!

Re: Brian Taylor Spitfire Build

I have moved since the original post and am still setting up my space.
I doubt I will be doing this build. Sorry.
