Re: Moble DTE light
I've been running it in my Jetcat P-70 since new, I have 5 1/2 hrs on it. It will be interesting to see if Jetcat notices a difference when it gets sent in a 25hrs. My understanding was that Jetcat didn't recommend it simply because they haven't thoroughly tested it and don't plan to.

Personally I think it is fine too, but I refer you to this thread on RCU
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_8088573/tm.htm wherein JetCat USA states that Germany is not willing to sign off on this stuff "due to its performance at high temperature". I seriously doubt that unless something really goes bad in the engine that anyone could tell if it was DTE or MIL-PRF-23699 spec'd oil that it had run on. I have about 15L of the harshly carcinogenic stuff and once finished, I will try Mobil DTE. Len |
