Here's another approach for the mule/tractor: see if you can find the make/model of one used at an airport/airfield that the actual plane visited. As long as the right tow bar for the plane is available (and they'd probably carry it on the plane), any mule/tractor capable of towing that size of plane would be used. Struts1 is right though - a scale mule would have a tough time pulling the plane on a grass field. But it'll look cool!
