Hi guys,

I did a dumb thing and sold my Radian to one of my brother in-laws, now I want another one!

Do any of you guys have one that you would be willing to part with?

Re: ParkZone Radian

HA HA.. you silly goose. My Bro has the radian as well and though he flies other planes quite well, he loves the radian for its easy gliding abilities for the days you just want to sit and soar. And no, dont ask.. he wont part with it...He'd just be repeating your mistake....LOL

PS- the original radian is so much nicer for thermalling than the radian 2. Hate those ailerons! (maybe the slopers like it?)

Re: ParkZone Radian

I have one and love it.
Took my son out who had never flown anything RC before and he flew it all afternoon with out any problems.
He even lands the thing better than me.

Re: ParkZone Radian

That's why I got two of them for my brother in-laws, same thing. Had never even tried RC before, gave them some stick time when we were down at the Cumberland Aerotow and they flew all afternoon. Came home, and got them set up with one each. Can't keep them from bothering me now about going flying!

Just need to find another one for me.....don't really want to go to the XL.

Re: ParkZone Radian

The trouble is they are getting harder and harder to find.

The model has been discontinued for a while now. I don't understand the logic of discontinuing great models that are pretty much timeless. A glider is a glider. And this one was a good one. Too bad.

That's because it was replaced with the E-Flite Radian, which has a better wing attachment and the newer AR400 Rx and is otherwise pretty much identical (well, actually it's a PZ Radian Pro fuselage with Radian wings, but there's little difference in the flight characteristics and now you get the option of swapping to FH with a wing/RX change)

The E-Flite version has not been discontinued, but it seems that certain local stores aren't bringing them in. It's in stock at Horizon, so they should have zero issues ordering one.

Re: ParkZone Radian

I hear the XL is even better than the original. Other than storage issues I'm not sure why the reluctance to get one. Bigger usually flies better.
