A friend had problems with a gasser like that, and it turned out being the ignition wires.

...

i've heard of this before with another guy that flies futaba and gassers. Come to find out, it was the rudder servo that was causing it (cheap 1/4 scale servo). As soon as he unplugged the rudder servo, it worked great. If i were you, i'd try replacing the servo.

The type of servo is almost positively not the problem.

What type of plug is in the engine? Should be an "R" type.

How many inches are there between the radio components and the engine, including all wiring, servos and switches.

Are there any metal to metal conacts anywhere in the linkages?

Is the antenna of the TX fully extended during your tests?

Do not be tempted to fly the model until you eliminate the source of the interference.........

If you have the throttle servo mounted close to the engine, move it back to mid-fuselage and use a non-metalic pushrod.

Does it happen when the engine is not running, or only when running?
