negative wires should never be switched. Instead the double throw switch should switch the red wire twice. Makes the switch 10,000 times more reliable. Negative never switches well because no spark during contact. Positive should use both sides of the double throw switch; that way both have to fail at the same time to fail. If negative and positive is switched if one fails to contact that switch fails.
I have had a couple customers loose brand new planes because of these switches. (not sold by me because I know better).

OK I missed it as I was focussing on the comment about negative not switching well. I couldn't see why electrons would care where in the circuit the switch was. They still travel from point a to point b.

Oh, I picked up on that 2yrs ago when I bought a couple of them from Brad Egan.

I have been using MPI switches since I started with gas. No troubles with those either. Guess its good to be like a combine: listen to it all, sort the usable info, and chuck the rest out the back.
