Losi MRC in Mississauga

Picked up my (long awaited) Losi Mini Rock crawler from Cool Toys for Big Boys today. They got their first shipment in from Horizon. Love it! Can't hardly wait for the battery to finish charging. Sorted through my storage closet in the basment for odd boxes, speakers, wooden planks etc to build a nifty course. Hours of fun indoor! Best $300 I spent. Going to do a bunch of small mods this weekend (Battery tray removal, motor/trans rotate, wheel weights etc)

It will be interesting to see the extent to which the R/C community embraces these little rigs.

I have no doubt that the are a blast to run on the right terrain. I just hope that their small size doesn't limiit the amount of useful places to run.

Maybe mini-crawlers will be the next big indoor thing!

I'm enjoying mine. A bit dissapointed with the plastic diff lockers but the metal ones are comming out by X-mas.

$300 seems a bit pricy, was that plus tax? I payed $230 + tax for mine.

Hmm, I saw that he lives in Mississauga, figured Hobby Hobby is where he probably bought it.

$260 + tax = $293. Gotta love higher prices because of location.

I got to say I like mine. When I first seen the pictures of them on the internet I didn't know what to think with the size, but after getting one and doing a few mods its a very capable truck. At the last comp I ran it on the courses we were running the 2.2's on and it would do most of the obstacles.
