Stayed over in Baddeck this weekend,as a home base to explore for some fall color but the weather was not great. Kayaked out to the island and while I was getting my plane ready a cruise ship pulled in and anchored. They ferried passengers back and forth to the dock with zodiacs. Later in the day I talked to one of the crew. The ship is from Norway and the crewman, a Philippino,said it was on a trip from Greenland to Antarctica,a place he liked very much. Not many people get that kind of opportunity. I got an e-mail address from him and told him I'd send some pics which I did as soon as i got them downloaded. Kind of neat. The day was heavy overcast and a stiff breeze but I managed to get these plus a ground level shot from the island that fronts Baddeck.
