LOL they've been saying that since 1958.

Unbeleievable where we have come though. I remember Gr 9 science where we would put 2 electrodes in a beaker of water and seperate the O2 and the H. Didnt think there would ever be any practicle use for it though because of the amount of H need to power anything of substantial size.

Funny how when you boil it all down (punn intended) all of these new "green" systems still rely on electricity derived from some source, which still is most practically developed from coal or uranium.

Still holding my breath for cold fusion!

Re: Kiss LIPO's Good bye

I'm not sure the weight of these systems (hydrogen tank, and fuel cell) will make it a feasible replacements on smaller scales..

Re: Kiss LIPO's Good bye

I just read the brochure here http://www.horizonfuelcell.com/files/HCELLQA.pdf

This fuel cell is only capable of puting out 30 watts. It actually is a hybrid system and uses a 4000mah lipo for primary power.

Re: Kiss LIPO's Good bye

717g = 30W
Two hours to recharge.
Required but not included: 7.2V/4000mA NiMH or LiPo Battery
Better peak power if you add a battery, but then why no just run a battery?

Electric boat anchor?

Re: Kiss LIPO's Good bye

Isn't hydrogen fuel what blew up the Space Shutter?

I know of a truely no-footprint, rechargeable, super light-weight, and very cheap power source...RUBBER BANDS!!
