I've read in another forum the Vulcan engine leak oil thru the front bearing - a lot of oily residue sit on the chassis. It could just be bad bearing in that one Vulcan, but I was wondering if you guys who have one had experienced this. Also, what is the warranty on the Vulcan & engine?

Thanks
Kai

Bearing leakage and warranty

The engine warranty is the usual, contact the manufacturer for inspection.

As for the bearing leakage, yes, you do get fuel residue on the chassis from the front bearing. There is a warning sheet in the box that states this is normal and should no-one attempt to correct this as they are trying to provide extra lubrication to the front bearing.

All of Kyosho's motors used to do this as well. The amount is minimal and they include a clear gear cover if it becomes annoying to you.

I'm so used to this on Kyo's motors it seems like second nature now.
