Re: Maac Mag April Issue

I suspect he means a small safety issue with the electric hovering what appears to be just a few feet in front of the pilot and two spectators with bleachers impeading a possible escape.

Wink Re: Maac Mag April Issue

Judging by the out of focus background...I'd say that a telephoto lens was used and makes you think it's closer than it is... no real issue at all.

Re: Maac Mag April Issue

Please don't let this thread die!?! I was hoping for some Long Distance Boundless Stupidity over here in Singapore. The humidity over here is so bad that you don't have to wait for it to rain to go out flying to be stupid. You can be stupid anytime!

Glad to see you are all still having fun!

Peter

Re: Maac Mag April Issue

Why are so many canucks safety cops seriously? Don't ever goto the Tuscon shootout or XFC then where they hover 40%+ planes right in front of them with horror show sized props spinning....

Re: Maac Mag April Issue

I was the Contest director of the event where that picture was taken. The pilot of the aircraft was very experienced, the aircraft was proven and reliable. The risk was minimal!!!!!
