How the heck do you build the shocks for the B4?

I have owned associated buggies and trucks before and never had a problem.

I am building my shocks for my B4 (by the way Losi wins this hands down, they come with pre assembled bottoms) and I trimmed all the peices and used green slime, and I can not get the darn things to lock into place. I have tried both front shocks with different peices, and have ruined 4 red o rings so far, and gotten nowhere.

what is the trick?

if it is nice any of you b4 owners going to be at Sid's tomorrow?
