Yeah its a big move for us, but we're obviously excited about it too. And I'm very much looking forward to the flying weather (and fields) in South Carolina!

Jason,

I didn't know you were a closet MERICAN!

Do you golf? Nice golfing down there as long as you stay away from Myrtle. Actually I like golfing better in the Atlanta area then I do in Myrtle.

Yeah get some IMAC going at Tripple Tree and we'll arange a Canadian Invasssion! EH!

JASON!!!! What the heck?

We will definitely miss you on the circuit. I was really looking to seeing the plane rebuilt and in the air again.

The best of luck and I hope we have the opportunity to fly together again in the future.

Re: What's everyone planning

All the best Jason with the big move.

Back to Eric's question - for me I hope to start in Jackson, MI in June, then Jim D's Flying Tigers contest in July, NOIC in Sudbury in August. If Ralph and Mike have a Stoney Creek contest I would certainly get to that also. That will probably be it for me this summer

Re: What's everyone planning

Yeah I'm a dual citizen. Certainly convenient

Eric I have some contracting stuff lined up. I'm in software development, so I'm going to make a switch to the mobile field (focusing on iPad and iPhone apps) and have a contracting job lined up through someone I know. Hoping it takes off!

Brendan, I was really looking forward to the contest season this year and actually having a full go at it with my electric. I going to miss the Canadian crowd up here! But it may just be a practice summer for me and a chance to get more comfortable with my plane.

Jason

Jim - I think that will depend on how good (or bad) I am flying and whether I can get the time off. Sometimes it is hard to swing a 3 day flying weekend and August is also planned for family holidays. We shall see how it goes

Bil:

What's this "how good or bad" you are flying crap? The way you have been flying the past two seasons, even with a couple of midairs to boot, you can't possibly fly bad.

It is you who has inspired me to attempt intermediate this season.

Hope to see you at many contests including the Nats.

Brendan - you are very kind. We shall see. Two midairs (or one and a half) in two years has me a little spooked. Not for me but for the impact on the other pilots. Damage to my plane is not the issue for me, I really don't like the damage to other people's "rides". In any case it will depend on how I fly at the other contests and what the family vacation plans are. I am encouraged to see how far you have come since you were the "line boss" at the NOIC Nats. However, it's the friends I have made in IMAC that keep me coming back.
