Weather was windy and wet outside but very comfortable inside. We lost our usual venue due to the 1st landing on a Sunday and the church was in use. We were able to locate another church gym at the last minute and around 18 pilots enjoyed the day.
Here are some pics.

Re: Simcoe's Annual January 1st Indoor

I was helping my 6yr old nephew try out his Heli he received for Christmas.
I showed him the basics and after that he slapped my hands away, announcing he can do it himself and away he went. Got to love them. He flew it for the rest of the day on his own and went through all my batteries I had charged for the event. I think I only had a half of a flight on my heli before he needed that battery also.

Re: Simcoe's Annual January 1st Indoor

Near the last hour we brought out Simcoe's Hoops of Doom aka The Vaporizer.
Vapors can't resist this. If they are flying they steer straight for it. If they are on the tables, they are soon in the air ready to try their luck.
Many attempt but few actually make it through!
There was always a pile of Vapors on the ground at the base of the pole.
The challange is to fly through all rings one at a time and return back through in the opposite direction.

Great day great guys and most important loads of fun.

Re: Simcoe's Annual January 1st Indoor

It WAS a huge amount of fun- thanks to my club-mates who organized the event. This was my first experience flying indoors with my UMX Edge X-Mas present- did I say it was fun?
