thats right, the former world champ himself has dropped tamiya, and left to join HPI. he will join the best racer ever Hara, and will be driving the Pro4 and the R40. look out for HPI now, they will rule touring car racing!

Ya, it's weird that Surikarn did that, considering he won with Tamiya.
I guess HPI is paying the big bucks.
I'm still sticking to Tamiya though, their parts quality is amazing. You get what you pay for I guess.

i agree, tamiya parts are second to none. they have such good designs, and the build quality is amazing.

i accually heard that the reason he moved was becasue Tamiya made him use the Evo4 instead of the 415, which is what almost all of the Tamiya team was using.

hahaha.. that's awsome. I know that everybody is using the 415 and it's supposed to be amazing. But I really like shaft drive cars.
Right now I'm not "good" enough to get myself either the EVO IV or the TRF 415. I'm using a hopped up TB-02 right now and I like it.

So I was thinking eventually getting the EVO IV (or V by the time I'm ready

but belt still seems to be were it's at.

No I havn't, I've watched a few times.
I usually ended up at the Galaxy Hobby Parking lot on Sundays.
I'm thinking of signing up at to TORC and going there. But really I'm excited about the new indoor track in Oakville because that's closer to were I live (mississauga)
