Picked up a nib Midwest Extra 300S. Installed a Brison 3.2 up front, and covered it in the Redbull theme. One big plane.

Wow! Nice work!

Did you paint and clear the entire fuse and wings?

Beautiful Eagle

Re: Midwest Extra 300S

Hi, thanks for the kind comments. She looks pretty sweet I must say...
As far as painting it.... not a drop has hit the plane other than blacking out the firewall and clearing that. Its covered in monocoat top and bottom. My buddy owns a sign shop and together we designed the layout for the plane. After a few hours behind the computer, the graphics were sent to a Rowland Pro4 64inch solvent printer. This machine actually impregnates color right into the vinyl, making it stand up rather well. Each individual graphic...including the eagle, was then covered in a clear vinyl. It's the same system they use nowadays on buses, cars, or anything they need a quality graphics on. I have done this on a couple of my planes, and it holds up great.

Here's a couple pics along the way. The flames were hand drawn and cut, but the printer did everything else.

Re: Post your Aircraft Pic's Here

Got out yesterday 6 of January 4 degrees light wind.
Never been out this time of year with the big guns.
Loving this new motor ZDZ 224 four cylinder, in has brought on new interest, part of the rush for me is the sound.

Re: Post your Aircraft Pic's Here

Is that one of Trevor's builds? Looks just like the one he flew at "Huckin in the Valley".
