Re: Blue Foamie

Hi Andrew
I'm looking forward to indoor flying and also to see you again. I hope yo'll be able to join us this coming indoor season, this summer was so awful, weatherwise, we could have done better inside a gym.

Re: Blue Foamie

Hey Gaston, what do you guys use to hold your props on? I tried the elastics, that came with it. And when i maiden it today, during a snap, the prop flew right off and ripped my motor out too.

Also did you guys do any adjustments to the motor when you got it? Im using the turnigy 2204 one, i think its the same.

Re: Blue Foamie

Hi

We use "o" rings 5/8" i.d x 3/32" from an automotive supplier, if you're lucky, they could cost only a few pennies each, somewhere around 8 cents as compared to 50 cents at a hardware store.

Re: Blue Foamie

Oh, cool, ill go check it out tomorow if my mom could drive me. Did you guys have props fly away with the oring? The grub screw that they provided looks too short for it cause the elastic hangs like very close to the end.

Re: Blue Foamie

Hi

We haven't had any problems, only if we hit something and that happens once in a while

Re: Blue Foamie

Well, i hade 3 flights today, 2 were successful before the the third flight where the motor blew off yet agian. It flew nice, rolling harriers were fast on right roll and a little slower on left roll. The knife edge where nice, but I reallu wanted to bring it down low, but the winds were gusting high it was going all over the place, i had the wind stop for a minute or too and was hover and torqueing near the ground. My mom was to busy to drive me to get o-ring so i used fishing line.... The prop was so out of balance sinve i was using fishing line.

BTW what flight times are you guys getting off the 2s360mah? I'm only getting 5.30minute, but it might be because of the prop and the fishing line.

Re: Blue Foamie

Hi

The 360's don't last much more than that, hovers will drastically shorten the duration but it's all worth it. Congratulations on your first flights with it.
