Altecare RC is pleased to announce that with the cooperation of Schubeler Power Systems, we released two power systems for the Boomerang Nano and Sprint.

The SPRINT system is capable of delivering over 19 lbs of thrust while the Nano system will deliver close to 15 lbs of thrust.

These power systems are extremely powerful and are manufactured of super high quality material and workmanship in line with the typical German standards.

The details for the Nano can be found at:
http://www.altecare.com/bnano.htm

The details for the Sprint can be found at (available Oct 09):
http://www.altecare.com/bsprint.htm

Stay tuned for more EDF conversions and kits as well as power system offerings, just our way of going GREEN

Re: New EDF power systems released for the Nano and Sprint

Great thought, but since these jets fly in the same flight regime as Turbines do pilots need waivers?

If you fly in Canada you don't need a waiver to fly turbines, if you want to fly in the US you need to be signed off in Canada by somebody who can sign you off, but it's still not the same waiver process.

EDF planes do not need waivers in the US or Canada.
