Caster Racing Team N.E.R.D. Cup - Trophy Race - Offical Post
Alright everyone I have sorted out the issues so everything should be good to go. So here it is what you have been waiting for. You don’t want to miss this. Team Caster Canada and Team N.E.R.D. are bringing you one more trophy race this year. When Saturday September 29th 2012! Where DORC Track Bowmanville Ontario The Details Gates will open at 7AM and open practice is good to go then. Registration will be on RCSIGNUP Trophies / Plaques will be based off of pre-registered numbers. Drivers meeting will be at 8:30 AM, racing will start no later than 9:00AM. There will be a very strict flow, minimal time between races and rounds. Personal transponder is required. Minimum six entries are required to run a class. Classes planned are: 1/8th Nitro Buggy 1/8th Nitro Truggy 1/8th Electric Buggy 1/8th Electric Truggy 2WD OPEN Short Course Truck (Short Course Chassis, Closed Wheel Body, and Wheels and Tires) 4WD SPEC Short Course Truck (MUST have Short Course Chassis, Closed Wheel Body, and Wheels and Tires. 550 size 4 pole motor or smaller, 2 cell lipo MAX or 7 cell NIMH, ANY ESC) If there is any confusion if your truck is spec or not send me your setup. Pricing information: Members: 1st Class - $25 2nd Class - $15 3rd Class - $10 4th Class - Free Non-Members: 1st Class - $30 2nd Class - $20 3rd Class - $10 4th Class - Free Also for everyone who pre pays for this event $5 will be put in a pot from every person who pre-pays and a ticket will be given to win the $5 times the number of pre-paid racers. As one large money pool. You may send us money via PayPal, EFT, Money Order, or pay in person BEFORE the race. Track will be closed a few days in advance for last minute maintenance until race day. You will not be able to enter the grounds. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. This includes all members. There will be 2 qualifiers @ 7 minutes each. Mains are 10 minutes for electrics, A main nitros are 20, B mains are 10 or 15, finial decisions will be made at the direction of the race director on the day of the race. Also we will be selling 50/50 tickets. $5 gets you 7 tickets $10 gets you 20 tickets More details on race day on where to buy, when the draw is etc. There are definitely prizes, including a kit, 50/50 draw, much more to come! We have some very cool things planned for this race so make sure you come out! Looking forward to seeing everyone out for a great day of racing and FUN! Just a reminder everyone the trophies will be ordered based upon PRE REGISTRATIONS in RC Signups!
The more people that are registered the more trophies we will be ordering, so don't wait till the last minute to signup! Cutoff date for the trophies to be ordered is Sept. 4th, so as of that morning that is what they will be based on.
