Question Traxxas Aluminum Exhaust Header???

Remove this ad - become a site supporter!
I keep blowing these up. Tired of running to the LHS, EBAY or bugging my buddies.
still the TRX 3.3 mill. (wana keep it a rear pipe)
I have gone threw 4 so far.
3 busted right at the "gasket" that bolts to the motor, one split open on the bend.

Looking for a replacment (reliable) and resonably priced (not wanting to spend a lot as I might be changing out motors soon)

Links , pics and ALL advice is apreciated.

the stock header sucks

try to find a used THS pipe on ebay.. i got one like new with header and seals for $23 usd. The main reason i got it was cause it came with a spring header for the revo. Solved my header prob plus the pipe is a good upgrade from stock

The O.S. header, for the .18 tm/tz works great, i was breaking stock ones as well, but the O.S. is spring mounted, havn't had a problem since. It is pricey though...

OS 18TM header is very pricey...I just bought one and it was close to 50 bucks....it was more expensive than the THS pipe..

The ths pipe and header work great IMO. Don't bother with the trinity pipe.

Thanks.
I kinda like the stock pipe, just the cheap header is the problem.
You have given me a few things to look into.
Gona see is someone who went side pipe on the Revo might have a O.S. header laying around.
