Re: Bell 206L 700size

I don't know the correct properties for the factory units but I did get some 10mm precision drill rod and went to a local machine shop to get them turned for the 9mm lower sleeve. They were not hardened and they were very good in my 550 size Align. Unfortunately, they are too short for your needs. To give you and idea of cost, they charged me 21.50 each about 5 years ago, remembering that I supplied the material. Hope this helps.

Re: Bell 206L 700size

I believe the stock shafts are tempered so tool steel may be worth a look. I used to buy rods for retract pins and other uses such as gear legs, but the rods are not precision ground when then arrive.

I would check your local factory supply house for pins of the correct length and diameter. There may be some available for measuring or quality control.
