It's got a 91 Magnum four stroke up front. Wingspan is 57 inches and it weighs in at a bit over 9.5 pounds.
I'm hoping to find a canopy for it this weekend at the Toledo Show. If I can't find one, I can order one for the Skybolt ARF that should fit.

Dave,

It looks a lot like SIG Skybolt bi-plane model. GPlanes is very different and as far as I know, it was SIG and GPlanes who produced kits of Skybolt biplanes.

Re: Post your Aircraft Pic's Here

Recently I got another new but vintage addition in my fleet.

A very very rare model of Avro Vulcan Bomber in pusher configuration from a friend who bought it but never flew it. It's in very good condition and is powered by OS 61FX engine in pusher configuration, it has most servos installed but needs couple in the wings to make it RTF!.

Re: Post your Aircraft Pic's Here

I thought I'd come back here and post a picture of my nearly completed 132" Turbo Beaver. Still have wing struts to complete, waiting for machined parts. I'll do them when it warms up enough to be in the shop.
If anyone remembers, I was showing a pic of my Harley and trailer.
This is the plane that will be inside it this year!! The trailer will need a small modification to a cross bar, but the TB should fit. Here's a couple of pics. Dash should be in shortly flytwice

Re: Post your Aircraft Pic's Here

Robbie, is that a design build? Or, possibly from others plans? Looks great.

Just did the shake-down (run). Then final balance check. Hope to maiden this 20lb Ultimate tomorrow. Finally some real nice weather in Alberta.

Beautifully done Doug, you are one hell of a craftsman and a modeller.
Where did you get all the graphics made for your Turbo Beaver model?
What's the weight of this model. From what I remember you were going to power it with 50cc electric motor from ur other model you sold a while ago.

Re: Post your Aircraft Pic's Here

It flew a lot smoother than I expected. It snapped when I wanted it to, it turns flat nicely with a bit of opposite rudder, and it lands sower than I thought possible for a plane that is close to 10 pounds. It is definitely a keeper.
Was hoping to find a canopy for it from Fiberglass Specialties at the Toledo show today. No luck. They didn't have a booth there this year. They will be missed.
I did pick up a small Sea Cruiser. It looks just like a bigger version of the Drake seaplane designed byKen Willard. The Drake was 3 channel though and this is 4 channel. It's a .25 size plane but has an OS .32 on it. It should scoot off the water real nice.
It does need some repair. The bottom is broken just in front of the step. It was balsa. I think I'll replace it with Light ply.
One more to play with at the float fly.
Dave

Thanks Struts. I'll be at the Toledo Show again tomorrow and I'll see if one of the reps will be able to tell if it is a Sig kit. That should make finding the canopy a bit easier.
