Looking for advice on Buying a RC Car

Hi Group

I was wondering if anyone can assist me! I want to buy a RC remote car, the Nissan Skyline GTR (Paul walker version) for my boyfriend for his birthday. He already has two gas Rc Trucks but not a car and he's a huge fan of this Skyline car. I have no clue if what I have found is a decent car for him. I don't want to be cheap but I also don't want to spend like $500 on it.

Would a 1/10 On Road RC Drift car with 2.4 Ghz controller be decent? Any tips what to look for and what is best?

Since he already has two trucks an on road car could be a little boring OR he may love the speed. HPI makes a good product at a decent price
