If it's racing in general, the EMFSO (Electric Model Flyers of Southern Ontario) Formosa series seems to have struck a chord with electric flyers in the GTA region. Rules are fairly simple and easily followed -- stock GWS Formosa airframe with stock "C" motor and set battery weight, then advanced classes with brushless motors.

Not hard to be competitive in terms of speed and bits/pieces, but requires good flying skills to naviagate the pylons closely and to not over-stress the airframe.

I have been posting alot of info about the new Electric F 1 racing event on the EMFSO webb as there is a forum set up.
We do need a forum set up on RCCanada as there are many people across Canada interested in High Performance airplanes and flying.
Alberta and Saskatchewan has had pylon racing for over 30 years and is still going strong. Manitoba had some for a few years as well and in Ontario about 30 years.
