Have you seen this plane?............
Attention fellow Modelers;
The ATTACHED AIRCRAFT HAS BEEN STOLEN.................. It is a very fast plane designed and built by Ted Russell from the Sushwap, B.C. Anthony Pigeau of Salmon Arm BC, formerly Kelowna BC, had his home broken into during the holidays. The place was trashed. All of his aircraft, RC cars, Monster trucks, computers etc. were taken. He is very distraught at loosing this particular aircraft though. Known as a Schimitar ??, there were only about 5 ever made (to my knowledge) and getting a replacement will be hard if not impossible as Ted has moved on to bigger better things, Otters right Ted............... Anyways, if seen or offered for sale anywhere please contact me, PM me, so I can get the info back to Anthony..... Thanks Ross Please foreword this to as many modelers as you can....................

Yes they are a neat plane, I believe that he built a 4 engine one as well. Like I said they are very fast. I can't emagine the plane ever surviving some one who isn't a good pilot who attempts to take it up. I am not even sure if these have ever been flown off land with wheels as they seem to use alot of water landing..........

Hey Ross..I will keep an eye out for it up here..three big hobby shops, so lots of stuff goes on consignment...
One idea might be to check out any pawn shops or second hand stores..

I'll keep an eye to see if it shows up down on the coast. Things like this would be hard to unload up in the interior and too many will recognize it.

Won't be hard to recognize that plane.
Sad to hear about homes being broken into. It's one of the most distressing things that can happen to a person. Hope they catch the thief or thieves. |
