Boomer Torus - Arrived!

Picked up the new Boomer Torus today - had a few minutes to do a basic unpack.

Some quick comments:

Highs:

-Its' big!
-Nice fiberglass work
-The wings and stab are built up and look like they're covered and then clearcoated!?!?!?
-Nice sullivan hardware package - all completely usefull and it looks like they're precut
-2 light carbon wing tubes - seem very strong (no flex like I saw on an Elan)
-Really good packing job
-Big wing cord
-Full set of wing bags, stab covers, etc.
-Both standard and tip tank wing ends supplied

Lows:

-Doesn't look like a lot of room in the fuse (I want room for smoke!)
-The yellow in the sport scheme is pukey (yes I said pukey)
-Those stupid combination servo mount/hatch. No way am I gonna bolt a 250+ oz servo to a couple of flimsy plastic servo rails.

More pics, build thread, etc. later....

IQ-Hammer 170+... or it may get the Merlin from the Flash.

According to some posts and also Patricia from Boomerang, this is the first one truly designed for the 160 size turbines.

That's a nice looking jet Paul,I seen that jet in one of my mags and really liked the aggressor paint, what are you planning on putting back in the flash?

I have a Booster 170 returning from Germany from repairs. This will likely go in the Boomer and the Merlin will stay in the Flash.
