Steering Servo Problems

Remove this ad - become a site supporter!
hey, my brand new servo isnt giving me the full steering range that it should, i turn the wheel all the way and it turns about 50-65% of what it should, maybe not even that much, i cant afford a new one, so if theres no way to fix it ill just have to live with it. any help would be great.

Regards,
Trevor

c low, im using a stock HPI TF-1 transmitter with RF-1 receiver and SF-1 servos, all setting are stock on the car, except a leaner low speed, and slightly leaned high speed, but that wont effect the servo. i dont have the money for a new servo, so if worst comes to worse, ill stick with the one ive got, plus if im racing on a dirt track, i can just gas it hard in the turns and itll spin

Is it a brand new servo you just purchased or is it one that was in the truck when you got it? What lunytune was asking was if it's a brand new servo that you just put in, did you turn on the receiver and transmitter and make sure that the servo was centered before putting on the arm. Also, unless it's a high torque servo there is a good chance that it will not turn all the way when the vehicle is sitting still.

Does your controller have a Dual Rate dial or setting? If so check to make sure it's at 100%

Good luck!
