N.O.I.C. 2014, 10th Anniversary Edition
Well, it is year 10 for the N.O.I.C. this year
 and we hope to make this one as memorable as the last 9. I have to congratulate the great crew for keeping this one alive so long. Date: August 2nd and 3rd. Location: Great White North field in Sudbury Ontario. Please register on the IMAC site. Non-service camping is available at the field (bring your own bear spray  )More details to follow. Brendan |

Looking forward to it Brendan. Always have a good time at NOIC and it is mandatory attendance for me.
Not sure what I will be flying by then but I hope the Sukhoi. Finally rebuilt the carb and got it to idle, had two great flights earlier this week and then the prop bolts sheared. So now have to replace the hub and the other lost parts including a brand new 3 blade that is out in the corn field somewhere. Also broke the firewall and part of the engine box so I have repairs to do. Plane flies beautifully if I could just keep it in the air. Maybe I should just fly "old yellar" for sentimental anniversary reasons anyway ! Looking forward to the weekend in Sudbury and the Doghouse of course.

Count me in as well.
I start a two week vacation that weekend so a GREAT Start! Bill is that a DA170 that keeps giving you problems? So what are you flying this weekend at The NATS Warm-Up in Ohio? Gonna book the Comfort Inn now or are you guys getting a NOIC price from them?

I had such a good time last year that I just have to come back to see what happens in year ten. Unknowns for basic was so much fun last year, completely unexpected. Renting a trailer from a local club member as the new plane doesn't fit in the truck, very well anyway. I love spending time in the north and this gives me a good excuse to make the trek. My plan is to take Friday off, head out bright and early and hope to get a flight or two in before the day is over. I enjoy the enthusiasm of the Northern boys, always come away refreshed.
Oh, Brendan what would I need bear spray for, I'm not walking around with fried chicken hanging out of my pockets! Those big cuddly balls of fur have never given me any reason to spray them in the past, even after coming face to face with one once.... I don't who was more scared, him or me. Counting the days.
