EGODRIFT
Dear all, we were just informed (big thanks to Charles Tye) that our website appears to be currently unavailable. Upon inspection of the issue we found out that the whole data center appears to be affected after a (backup) battery fire (and resulting power line burn), and according to the status update from the operator (pasted below) it might take until Tuesday to get all the services back online and operational. Of course we are very sorry for the interruption, would like to reassure you that all your orders received in the meantime will be processed regardless and would like to thank all of you very much for your patience and understanding. Here's the latest status update (as of March 24th evening) from the data center operator (and admittedly, this is really not something you read every day): Data center operator's status update "We want to provide you with the latest update regarding the ongoing restoration efforts following the recent outage at the data center in Strasbourg. Our teams have been tirelessly working around the clock, 24/7, to bring back the systems online. We are pleased to inform you that there have been notable improvements in the DNS situation. However, we must also inform you that the external company tasked with removing the damaged batteries found that power cables were destroyed due to the burn in the Battery room. These power cables connect to the DC room where your server is located. To address this setback, we have engaged a company to bring new power cables. The weight is 19 tons, and they will need to be transported by truck. Unfortunately, due to mobility restrictions and the inability for special vehicle types to move on the roads during Sundays, we are forced to wait until Monday morning at 8 am for their arrival. Regrettably, this means that we do not expect power to be fully restored before Tuesday morning. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this delay may cause and assure you that we are doing everything possible to expedite the process. Please be assured that we will continue to provide updates as soon as new information becomes available."

Re: egodrift Motors
Egodrift Motors site back up
Dear all, we are happy to let you know that the teams hired by the operator of the big data cente managed to complete all works according to schedule and power seems to have successfully been restored. That means that all the servers (incl. ours) are back online and our website is available again.
