I just got an email from Bill Weins. We are trying to get the ball rolling but the local organizer is difficult to reach. Should have some info in the next couple of weeks. I'll keep you posted - the plan is still for a three day event Sept. 17,18,19

New news of Princeton?
Is there a chance Princeton will be hosting another jet event? It would be great to meet some of the jet pilots out there. Nobody ever comes to Kelowna to fly, wonder why lol?

Good news
The sawdust is going to fly now lol! I'm a pretty slow builder, but I should have something to fly for September. If I really crank it up a notch I could even make it to Alberta for July.

Dean, I'll be there! Nony (Wayne) is planning on coming to Vancouver and coming up with me, current plan.
I think that Jon and Kelly will also. The only problem is a conflict with RCFCBC Big Bird that weekend. Bart |

Is the Big Bird that weekend? I thought it was the following. We planned the event so that guys go do the Sept circuit....
1st WE Labor Day - Vernon Fly In 2nd Fall Classic Water Fly 3rd Princeton Jet & Scale 4th RCFCBC Big Bird Oh well....I was hoping to bring the K'Cat to the Big Bird the following weekend. Think it would qualify? D.W.

RCFCBC Big bird vs. Princeton, not really a tough choice unfortunately... I'd love to do both, but the Princeton meet is just way too much fun to miss. There should be a decent increase in pilots over 2002 by the sounds of it.
If any of you RCFCBC guys read this thread, you might want to propose a date change at the next meeting... Kelly

I don't recognize any RCFCBC members on here, Kelly..there was one, but he only made a couple of posts and that was it....it is probably something that a member (hint, hint) would have to make a motion on at the next meeting.
No competion on the dates in my books. I love the big bird events, but jet events are too rare (and too much fun) to pass up. I wonder if Marc could be enticed to come out? Quote:
