Tonight's project will be to modify the 300Amp ESC. The super-heavy Aluminum heat sink has come off, and I plan to build a very light shroud overtop with a pair of Spectrum cooling fans on the roof that will force air over the unit

Nice progress Trev! When do you expect it to be RTF?

In the final stages of getting my Bandit Mk2 rtf. Weather permitting it will fly this coming week.

Re: BVM e-Bandit on 14S

Wow I just saw this thread and BIG Thanks to Trevor for figuring out the battery problem . When I chose to use the Schuebler instead of the BVM fan I did not know it would create so many problems > I am glad to have Trevor do my installs .... Soooooo smart!!!!!!.
Sean I know you have wanted that Paint scheme for over a year. It looks awesome especially with those drop tanks !!!!!!!! Please keep posting pictures of your progress.

Here are a few pictures of the 300Amp ESC mounted onto hardwood rails. The rails were Hysol'd in place.

Re: BVM e-Bandit on 14S

And here are a few pictures of the super-lightweight G10 shroud with a pair of Spectrum fans on the top. Everything has been Hysol'd together with the 5-min clear stuff and it's super-rigid!

I started up the fans on 6.6V LiFe battery... a measly 0.2Amp power draw for both fans and insane cooling

Here's a quick video of the fans in operation and the VERY low current draw

Re: BVM e-Bandit on 14S

Looking good Trev. Where is your source for cooling air coming in from and going out to?
