Here's what you get:

A virtually new, OS FX 1.60 enigne, complete with OS factory aluminum mount and hardware for engine mounting and firewall mounting, Slimline side mount large volume smoker muffler, all original paperwork, decals and box.

The only difference you will notice between this engine and one you pick up at full retail is that you can take this one and run it now. Total time is 70 minutes, split over four 10 minute super rich bench runs of 10 minutes each, followed by 30 minutes of air time, split over 3 10 minute 4 stroking flights at max. half throttle. All runs on Omega 5% nitro castor/synthetic fuel. Still needs more run in time for peak performance.

Everyone knows it's a sin to pay retail, so you can snag this one, complete, with the aluminum OS factory mount and Slimline smoker muffler for only $325.00 or be a sinner and pay $545 + taxes at retail.

Will ship if required, with buyer's preferred carrier at buyer's expense. Free shipping for local pick up or delivery.

Re: Os Fx 1.60

The plane I'm thinking of putting it in calls for an inverted install. You say it is a side mount so I'm guessing the pipes will be sticking out the side of the cowl if I install the engine inverted.

there is no way it could be mounted sideways in your build? i was seriously looking at this engine too for a Sukhoi that i have a Saito 150 in.... and that 150 is sidemounted and pretty much all of it fits inside the cowling believe it or not. however the saito you have for sale i would want inverted too as it's going into a TopFlite Harvard i am building this winter. just too much bread for me right now.

Use a Bisson Inverted muffler then and sell the Pitts or keep it for future aircraft installs.

These are great engines and was one of the last SLIMERS I owned before moving on to GAS!

This will fly a 79 -81 airfaqrme with authority. I had mine in a H9 Cap 232 and ist was great.

Good luck with the sale!

Your absolutely right Jim they are great engines, had two before and should of never sold them but that's the way it goes. Have to sell my Saito's first before I spend anymore on other engines.

Yes, that Slimline muffler is for a side mounted installation. I don't think it would be appropriate to try to use it on an inverted mount engine.
