Re: Maine Brass Locos

Hi Bill

They are usually around $750 for a new relese, I have a fellow in Maine that I used to deal with. If i'm really interested I can usually pick up a previously enjoyed one for $450 - $500, or a new one for $ $600 if he's in a mood to deal. Sometimes I'll pick up a basket case for alot less.

Smile Re: Maine Brass Locos

Hi Pat
I served my millwright apprentice on stationary steam engines and still enjoy the sound and smell of steam, I must admit I fly electric planes though lol
Cheers

Re: Maine Brass Locos

I enjoy flyin them as well; but planes were just a break from trains for me. I'm a train guy first, I built sream locos in brass, plastic, wood and in just abiut every possible material you can think of for 40yrs. Mostly by commision for individuals, just got tired of it for a while. And yes, that smell and sound gets in the blood.
