FEELING LIKE A TRIVIA CONTEST AGAIN!!!

OK I decided to trry something a bit different - I have no idea how this will work, as I dont know if many (any?) of you are into the old timers and history of our hobby like I am. But, its my contest so there :P ...
This time we will have a identity contest. Here are two VERY VERY famous models, and two equally famous men that designed them! The first is -robably the most famous free flighter of all time, right up there with Carl Goldberg. He has many designs under his belt since the 30's but this one is one of my favourites. NAME HIM and the PLANE!! Second pic, this one is probably one of the MOST famous old timer models of all. It is being held by its designer, also quite well known but not as well as the other fellow. NAME THE PLANE and the GUy Hope this isnt too hard, but if I get a correct answer in an hour I will know its was way too easy.... Here we go...
